"Have you ever needed to get away? Fly into your wildest dreams, made real before your eyes, under your beck and call — embrace Exodus.

By fusing with your neurons Exodus offers unprecedented command over fantasy, offering everyone radical psychic autonomy. Chart your own path with the detailed, accessible controls, or practice your empathy by loading into another user’s phantasm.

Whether it's an amethyst gas giant in a galaxy far far away or the inner workings of your own cells, nothing is out of reach.

Exodus has industry-leading neuro-biological unification, with the ability to merge directly with synapses, allowing for the broadest and most inclusive range of experiences. A team of internationally-renowned scientists have perfected our signaling drive to allow for the most precise sensorial reproductions while following national neurotransmitter intensity regulations.

Exodus lets you move beyond the limits of reality. We believe that everyone deserves the right to feel their dreams come true."

In this project I created three speculative high-tech products and created an ad campaign with video and photos for them. Parodying technoutopic discourses parroted by massive, exploitative tech companies, I aim to explore the entanglements of desire, commodity, and dystopia. How do words, bodies, images, and the psyche intersect to construct specific technological advancements and the production of commodities?

This work is in the Commodity Fetish series and was in Automated Carnalities, my show at the List Art Building in Providence. It was also used in the Commodity Fetish installation piece.
